In an era when cameras are getting more and more complicated, when the upgrade cycle means built-in obsolescence for digital cameras within a year or two, when the emphasis is on increasingly incomprehensible "menus" of digital options, and mind-numbing hours playing with Photoshop, along comes the antidote in the most unlikely form: a cheap plastic camera that has virtually no controls, no settings, no predictability whatever. Welcome to the world of Holga. These delightful cameras bring the fun back to photography. All the features that one cannot get in even the most expensive cameras such as light leaks, severe vignetting, lack of sharp focus, accidental double exposures, and light weight are here! What other camera company makes flashes designed to severely tint the image in yellow or red glows? And of course, the sensor is film! No need to worry about ultrasonic cleaning of CCDs, CMOS, or any other electronic material. Each shot gets its very own sensor. Not satisfied that the light leaks are intense enough? No problem. Just make a tiny hole somewhere in the body! The images are unique and immediately recognizable as being from a Holga (even if the subject is totally unrecognizable). This is post-modern photography at its finest. Get more detail about

I HAVEN'T USED THIS PRODUCT VERY MUCH YET, BUT SO FAR, I THINK IT IS GREAT! IT IS WELL CONSTRUCTED, DURABLE, EASY TO SET UP, STABLE, LIGHT WEIGHT, EASY TO USE, AND EVERYTHING IT IS ADVERTIZED TO BE. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. I HAVE SEEN LESS VERSITILE TRIPODS AT MORE THAN TWICE THE PRICE. AND THE TOTE BAG IS A GREAT PLUS.Get more detail about

This is a fairly standard projector bulb, contained within a massive cage. This adds a lot of cost and waste. I am comfortable handling projector bulbs, so next time my TV needs a new bulb, I will find the naked bulb somewhere and insert it into a reused cage.
This lamp does perform well, and is fairly easy to change when using this version with the big cage. I'm signing up for extra work, but I'm happy to do that to save some bucks and some waste. Get more detail about

Like many of you, I looked all over the internet in order to find a hood for my 50mm 1.4. As you all know, they range in price by a lot. I finally broke down and decided to get the canon brand, which was also the most expensive. The whole time I was thinking to myself, why am I paying 30 bucks for a piece of plastic. I must say that when I got the hood, I was mildly surprised that it wasn't just a formed piece of plastic. The inside is lined with felt and the construction feels good. Now is it worth the 30 bucks? Well, maybe not quite, that is why I gave it 4 stars. However I was impressed that it does look and feel in person more then what I'd imagine I'd get if I bought the 10 dollar generic one. I have it on my lens and it looks great and helps to protect the lens too.Get more detail about

I ordered these and have never had any trouble with other brands of DVD+Rs. When I went to use one, I had to try 7 to get ONE to be recognized in my DVD recorder. I ended up testing the whole spindle in a little over an hour, and of 100 of them, THIRTY NINE were bad disks. I find that failure rate unacceptable, and will never purchase this brand of DVD+Rs again.Get more detail about
